Terms of Use
Using TNPSC Signature Compressor at tnpscsignaturecompressor.com.
Draft updated: 28 October 2026.
The operator’s legal identity and live contact inbox still need to be confirmed before public launch. Contact-form delivery depends on server-side Resend settings. This page does not identify a registered company or claim that the terms have completed legal review.
1. The service
This website provides free, browser-based photo and signature editing, resizing and JPEG compression tools. It is an independent service and is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
These terms describe the intended use and limitations of the service. Read them together with the Privacy Policy. Use the tools only if you accept these terms.
2. Your files and permitted use
Only process files you own or have permission to use, including any necessary permission from the person whose image or signature appears in the file. Respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property rights. Do not use the tools for unlawful purposes, impersonation or interference with the website’s security or availability.
You retain your rights in your files and their contents. Choosing a file does not transfer ownership or give the website operator permission to publish it, use it in advertising or sell it.
3. Local processing and saving files
Image editing takes place in your browser. The application does not send selected images, names or photo dates to an image-processing server. Ordinary website requests and hosting logs are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Keep a copy of your original image. Edits are temporary and can be lost when you refresh or close the page. You are responsible for saving the output you want to keep. A “Download started” message means the browser was asked to save a file; it does not confirm that your device completed the save.
4. Settings and technical checks
Default Settings are starting values for these tools. They are not an official examination specification. A technical pass means the generated file matched the selected, automatically testable targets such as encoding, pixel dimensions, byte size and resolution metadata.
These checks cannot confirm identity, signature authenticity, facial expression, background suitability or acceptance by an application portal. Compression and resizing may reduce detail. Inspect the actual downloaded file before using it.
5. Examination requirements and submission
Check the notification for your examination, year and application flow. Requirements can include exact pixels, both minimum and maximum file sizes, format, name/date rules and filenames. Confirm those requirements independently and use Change Settings where necessary.
The website does not submit an examination application on your behalf and does not guarantee that a file will be accepted. You remain responsible for reviewing and submitting your application. See the size guide and upload troubleshooting if a portal rejects your image.
6. Availability and limitations
The tools depend on your browser, device resources and a supported image format. The service may be updated or temporarily unavailable, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised. Do not rely on the website as the only way to prepare files for a submission deadline.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or responsibilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited. These terms do not require you to give up mandatory legal rights.
7. External websites
External links may help you check source documents or other information. Their content, availability, terms and privacy practices are controlled by their own operators. A link does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
8. Updates to these terms
The current version and its update date will be shown on this page. Changes do not grant new rights over images you previously processed or replace any consent or notice required by applicable law. Review the current terms before using a changed service.
9. Questions and corrections
Contact details will be published on the Contact & Corrections page before public launch. That channel is not yet configured in this local build. Do not send personal photos, signatures or application documents as part of a general support request.
